I have spent my entire career in museum retailing.  It began in 1972 when I was a salesperson at the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.  I spent twenty-one years managing the three flagship stores of the Smithsonian in the Natural History, Air & Space & American History Museums.  I then became General Operations Manager for all of the Smithsonian stores in 2001.  From there I moved on to become Retail Director at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.  Oversight included the E-commerce operation as well as the Museum Store.  My insights and instincts in the world of museum retail are attuned to all sizes of operations.  All of my managerial and directorial operations have been successful and profitable ones.

Because of the depth and breadth of my experience I have Answers for the basics of your cultural venue.  I welcome providing you with general or detailed information that will strengthen your retail enterprise.
